The brief introduction of myself
For over 23 years, I have served as a musician, worship/tech director, and educator. My passion is combining music, multi-media, and modern technology to create experiences that bring life, learning, and community to others. I’m a skilled musician and a creative artist with strong organizational and communication skills.

K – 8 MUSIC TEACHER
In August 2019, I began teaching music to students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. I implement state requirements in the design, implementation, and review of all information and procedures utilized in the education process. I employ the music curriculum from Quaver Music for grades K-5. In addition, I also create original music curriculum for grades 6-8 that focuses on literacy and writing through evaluating song lyrics. When I’m not teaching music, I oversee small groups of students in grades 5-8 who need specialized help with ELA achievement and learning goals....

Worship Arts Director
Heartcry Chapel is a small church that serves Kissimmee, Saint Cloud, and Harmony, Florida. I was instrumental in helping Heartcry navigate through a difficult transition and grow from 100 people to almost 400 people. Music Instruction and Production
In 2018, I produced two albums of loop-based music from student composers. In 2016, I wrote, recorded, and produced a song to celebrate the end of the school year. All projects have been released on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and many other music channels. I continue to teach my own children privately, but have focused on Public Education....

South Park Church is located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and has a weekly attendance of around 1000 people. I directed all aspects of the music, creative arts, and technical ministries. Executive Director of Worship
Community of Hope is a church located in the suburbs of West Palm Beach. Experience was gained here through planting a church from the ground floor by building teams, raising leaders, and coordinating all aspects of the worship, creative arts, and print/visual media ministries. The church grew from 30 to 800 people during the time of my tenure and now has an attendance of around 2000 people with two campuses....
Valencia College
Over 3 years, I earned my Professional Educator's License from Valencia College as part of the Teacher Certification program. In addition to coursework, I successfully passed the General Knowledge Test, Professional Education Test, and the Music K-12 Subject Area Examination. The program included a semester of student teaching. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA....
A focus in Music Theory and Composition
I earned my Master's of Music degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. I studied music theory and composition with Dr. David Foley. In addition, I studied jazz piano with Frank Puzzullo and performed in jazz bands and combos. In 1997, I moved to South Florida and completed my final composition and requirements. I graduated from Ball State University in July of 2001 with a 3.8 GPA....
A Focus in Piano Performance and Music Technology
I earned my Bachelor of Arts at Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana and graduated with a 3.7 GPA. I studied piano with Dr. Reginald Rodgers and began my studies in music theory, songwriting, music technology, music history and vocal performance. While at Anderson University, I performed in chapel, campus events, and local opportunities. I performed with the Male Chorus as a vocalist and a piano accompanist. We performed and toured in the United States and in Europe....
