"Roam" was released on August 9, 2022. This song was written and recorded during the summer of 2022 in Kissimmee, Florida. When I realized that I wouldn't be able to travel anywhere over the summer, I decided to write a song about traveling.
As I developed the lyrics, I realized that the song needed more meaning than just an experience of a summer vacation. "Roam" is also about exploring a relationship. Many people have a desire to go on a road trip with a good friend or someone special, but the real journey is in cultivating a healthy relationship with that person. Deep relationships occur when a person is willing to safely roam and explore another person's character, heart, mind, and soul in the journey of a relationship.

This song was written and recorded in 12 days between Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving during November 2021 in Kissimmee, Florida. This song was performed and recorded by P.M. Wells Charter Academy (PMWCA) teachers and students. It is our first Christmas song.
The Christmas season is a wonderful time of celebration with family and friends, but for many people it also a time of sadness and pain. Along with laughter and celebration, we solemnly remember friends and family we've lost over the years and we honor their memory at our gatherings. This song represents a marriage of sadness and celebration.

"Bulldog Beats" Vol. 1 was released on May 21, 2021. These compositions were created by face-to-face and remote Middle School students using SoundTrap.com technology. One day a week, the class would learn compositional techniques, song form, mixing and recording techniques, music genres and styles, and how to work together and create musical collaborations with other classmates.
Middle School students spent the school year learning the software and experimenting with sounds and loops. The project was collaborative as students shared musical ideas among themselves to create songs that reflected different musical styles and their individual personalities.

"Panther Sounds" Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 were released on May 23, 2018. These compositions were created by 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students using iPads and loops from Apple's Garageband software.
Students spent the semester learning the software and experimenting with sounds and loops. The project was collaborative as students shared musical ideas among themselves to create songs that reflected different musical styles and songs that reflected individual personalities.

I wanted to write a song that captured the excitement of students as they near the end of the school year. I specifically wrote a song that incorporates simple lyrics, an easy melody, and imagery from a normal day of school and the desire for a summer day. I hope you enjoy the song notes below.
